We had the chance to sit down with one of our newest team members, Amanda Flowers, to ask her about her time so far with the Gray Family.
Tell us more about your hobbies!
“I enjoy true crime and non-fiction, Carl Hiaasen and Lee Child are two of my favorite authors. I love to be on a pontoon while my kids are tubing behind it! I’ve enjoyed water sports since childhood and enjoy skiing when I get the opportunity as well.”
That’s such a great motto. Would you share a little more about what that means to you?
“’It’s the little things,’ for me, is geared toward moments, not objects. Good example: when I got home one evening recently, my 7-year-old daughter grabbed my hand and took me to her closet where she’d taken it upon herself to “organize” her clothing into different sections. She was so proud of herself, and I couldn’t help but smile and be appreciative!”
Since you started with Gray Solutions, how has the company changed in your opinion?
“Even though I’m just a short time as an employee, I was fortunate to have worked with several members of the Gray Solutions team over the past several years and witnessed the acquisition of Crow Street into a Gray, Inc. company. In that short amount of time, a small company focused on information technology solutions has expanded into a 50-person strong, sought-after leader in automation and process engineering.”
What do you enjoy most about your work?
“I’m incredibly excited to be part of the team and look forward to using my experience in food safety and operations to enhance customer experiences.”
What do you enjoy most about your work?
“Gray Solutions, summed up, is energy! Things are constantly changing and moving. As a new member of the Gray Family, I consistently witness personnel creating and communicating in a fluid manner with purpose – it’s not only refreshing, it’s inspiring.”

“The Gray Family emulates a sense of value and longevity, qualities that are sought after in a competitive arena, and one of the reasons I was so enthusiastic about accepting the position with Gray Solutions.”
