To sustain this incredible growth and efficiently supply its many stores along the mid-Atlantic coast, Publix selected Gray to design and build a refrigerated distribution center and a dry goods warehouse in Guilford Co., North Carolina. The two greenfield facilities total an incredible 2.3 million s.f. and are situated on a 334-acre site.

Gray worked closely with the customer in every phase of the project, from obtaining building permits to providing startup support after construction. The project included a wide variety of design, engineering, and construction services, including digital building information modeling (BIM). Additionally, Gray assisted the customer with equipment procurement and installation for the massive facilities.
