In 2022, Rudy joined Gray, bringing a diverse background in economic development and consulting. Born in New York City as a first–generation American, Rudy started his own small business in information technology that enabled him to pave his way through college at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science.
From public policy to consulting and entrepreneurship, his career path has taken him to impressive places, namely The White House where he served as deputy director of strategic initiatives for the Vice President of the United States of America. As chief of staff, Rudy works closely with Gray Construction’s president & CEO Brian Jones, and other executive leadership to build cohesive teams and company capacity. As vice president of strategic initiatives, he acts as an integrator, advisor, and implementer of Gray initiatives, continuing to strengthen Gray’s core markets, services, and future.
In his free time, Rudy enjoys traveling to the mountains, snowboarding, bike riding, and salsa dancing with his wife, Becca, and daughter, Everly.
