In 2022, Rudy joined Gray, bringing a diverse background in economic development and consulting. Born in New York City as a firstgeneration American, Rudy started his own small business repairing computers that enabled him to pay his way through college at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in political science. 

 

From public policy and politics to consulting and entrepreneurship, his career path has taken him to impressive places, namely The White House in 2018 where he worked for the Secretary of Labor. As Chief of Staff, Rudy will work closely with Gray Construction’s President & Chief Executive Officer Brian Jones and other executive leadership to build cohesive teams and company capacity. As Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, he will act as an integrator, advisor, and implementer of Gray initiatives, continuing to strengthen Gray’s core markets, services, and partnerships.  

 

In his free time, Rudy enjoys traveling to the mountains, snowboarding, and salsa dancing with his wife, Becca, and daughter, Everly.
