Joining Gray more than 20 years ago, Andy Allen’s passion for people has led him into many different roles, from intern and project manager to director of field ops and human resources director. With a desire for involvement in both the professional and personal lives of his fellow team members, Andy loves to work with others to help them become the best versions of themselves, succeeding not only in business, but in all areas of life. As Midwest regional manager, Andy uses his strengths to lead Gray team members and assist with jobsite assignments, hiring, performance management, and training and development. He is also involved with the planning and management of Gray’s talent hubs in the region.
Andy brings a distinct advantage to his new role in his amount of time at Gray: “I remember how Gray felt when it was smaller and the ‘culture’ everyone talks about. I think I’m in a unique position to, within my sphere of influence, help teach and cultivate the legacy of Gray’s culture and hopefully play a part in its perpetuation into the future.”
In his free time, Andy enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
