Manufacturing/Heavy Industry News Site Launched

Manufacturing Pulse, a free online news resource was announced today by Gray Construction. Manufacturing Pulse combines the latest manufacturing news with exclusive related commentary and analysis from select nationally-known commentators as well as the National Association of Manufacturers.


The first featured contributor is University of Michigan professor Jeffrey Liker, Ph.D., author of “The Toyota Way” (McGraw-Hill, 2004). Dr. Liker writes a biweekly “Lean Manufacturing Insights” column for Manufacturing Pulse; his first article is online today and discusses what “lean” really means. The National Association of Manufacturers will also provide exclusive content. Additional contributors will be announced soon.


Manufacturing Pulse offers a single location for manufacturing and heavy industry leaders to monitor the latest news gleaned from articles, commentary and video on more than 100 trusted sites. Articles typically appear on Manufacturing Pulse within minutes of posting on their original sites and can be searched for about two weeks. Articles and commentary written exclusively for Manufacturing Pulse remain on the site permanently. User data is never shared or sold.
