“Our West Palm Beach site plays a major role in our service organization, which has experienced sizable growth over the last several years,” said Derek Zimmerman, president, Gulfstream Customer Support. “The addition of this world-class facility will enhance the West Palm Beach customer and employee experience and help us maintain the service excellence we are known for. Additionally, we look forward to bringing more jobs to the community.”

Gray is partnering with BRPH on design services and Bohler Engineering on civil engineering services.

The new facility includes offices, back shops as well as an approximated 73,000 s.f. maintenance hangar for Gulfstream. Additionally, the project consists of an all-new storage hangar, customer offices and fuel farm operated by Jet Aviation.

“Jet Aviation is pleased to partner with our sister company on additional hangar expansion at Palm Beach International Airport,” said David Paddock, senior vice president and general manager, Jet Aviation Regional Operations USA. “As Gulfstream expands its MRO operations, Jet Aviation will construct a new, 40,000 square-foot hangar with 30-foot doors, 5,000 square feet of tenant office space, and a fuel farm that will start with a 30,000-gallon capacity. We join Gulfstream in providing new levels of service to our respective customers at West Palm Beach.”

“We’re happy to partner with Gulfstream once again on another great project,” said Stephen Gray, president and CEO of Gray Construction. “It’s exciting to be part of a project that will help Gulfstream and Jet Aviation further succeed and positively impact the local economy.”

The project is expected to be complete in 2020 and will create some 50 jobs.
