Leading business jet manufacturer Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and top business aviation services company Jet Aviation selected Gray to provide design-build services on an expansion at Palm Beach International Airport.

The 160,814 s.f. facility served as a replacement to a smaller operation on the south side of the airport and include offices, back shops, and an approximated 73,000 s.f. maintenance hangar for Gulfstream. Additionally, the project consists of an all-new storage hangar, customer offices, and fuel farm operated by Jet Aviation.
This addition for Gulfstream enhances the Palm Beach customer and employee experience while allowing the company to maintain the world-class service for which it is known. Jet Aviation also is now able to provide new levels of service to its respective customers, thanks to the upgrades.
This project provided a unique challenge due to the airport location. Gray team members were required to work in close proximity to active runways for both arriving and departing aircraft throughout the construction phase.
