Lydall Celebrates Grand Opening of Hamptonville, N.C. Expansion
On Saturday, June 18, Lydall, Inc., a global manufacturer of specialty engineered products for the thermal/acoustical and filtration/separation markets, celebrated the grand opening of a new addition to its automotive distribution warehouse in Hamptonville, N.C. Lydall selected Gray Construction to complete the 108,672 s.f. expansion which features a 18,350 s.f. two-story office building that now serves as the company’s headquarters.

The grand opening celebration kicked off with a meet and greet, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony and tour of the new office, warehouse expansion and press line within the existing facility.
Several state and local officials were in attendance including State Senator Joyce Krawiec, U.S. Congresswoman Virginia Foxx and Assistant Secretary for Rural Economic Development Dr. Patricia Mitchell. Attendees from Lydall included Chief Executive Officer Dale Barnhart, Chief Financial Officer Scott Deakin, Senior Vice President, Global Metals Division Bill Hume, Vice President, Fibers Division Bill Feld, Director of Operations Chris Jones and Director of Global Strategic Sourcing John Sundt.
