Gray's Marcus Taylor Receives Top Young Professionals and 40 Under 40 Awards.

Gray’s Marcus Taylor, Vice President of Business Development, was recently honored as one of Engineering News-Record Midwest’s 2023 Top Young Professionals and Building Design & Construction’s 2022 40 Under 40 class. The recognition comes after a monumental year of growth for Gray with landmark projects in the Manufacturing market.

Marcus started at Gray in 2006 as a project engineer and is in his third year of service in his current role, where he leads the strategic growth of Gray’s Manufacturing market—the company’s largest market segment. He has navigated this responsibility with precision and ingenuity, cultivating Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) that now encompasses 70% of Gray’s company’s business.

Some of Marcus’ signature wins in FDI include fiberglass manufacturing plants for Owens Corning and Jushi USA, two integrated paper production facilities for Sofidel America Corp., and a plastic injection molding plant for IRIS USA. His ongoing projects include a nearly 800,000 s.f. composite decking manufacturing facility and a state-of-the-art wet pet food production plant for Hill’s Pet Nutrition.
