Gray’s Anne Gorham Named President of the American College of Construction Lawyers
Gray is excited to announce Anne Gorham, executive vice president and general counsel, has been named president of the American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL), a select association of construction law practitioners, professors, and judges. Founded in 1989, its mission is to improve and enhance the practice and understanding of construction law and to promote the positive role of lawyers as “friends of the project.”
Gorham has been a member of the College since 2008 and previously served on the College’s Board of Governors and as president elect. She is the third woman to serve as president of the organization.
“I appreciate the opportunity to lead this group of exceptional construction lawyers dedicated to their profession and the best interests of the project,” says Gorham. “I’m also pleased that my presidency affirms the exponential growth of women in the construction industry and construction bar leadership.”
A Lexington, KY native, Gorham graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1991 and joined Stites & Harbison where she was a partner, construction practice group leader, and on the firm’s management committee. She joined Gray in 2017.
“Anne has been an invaluable member of the Gray family since she joined the team four years ago,” says Stephen Gray, president & chief executive officer, Gray, Inc. “Her deep roots and vast experience within the construction industry have proven to be a source of immeasurable assistance in several areas of the business.”
Gorham was named president at the American College of Construction Lawyers’ annual meeting, which was held virtually this year.
