Siemens and Whirlpool Jobsites Host Safety Luncheons

The Siemens Gas Turbine Manufacturing Facility in Charlotte, N.C. and the Whirlpool Corporation project in Cleveland, Tenn. both hosted safety luncheons on Wednesday, August 24th, 2011 to show appreciation to the jobsite team members. The projects celebrated the following:

•299 days onsite.

•459,940 man hours to date.

•8,896 tons/392,738 square feet of structural steel erected.

•56,199 linear feet of sprinkler pipe installed.

•276 tilt panels erected.

•13,986 cubic yards of concrete poured.
•398,500 square feet of roofing laid.

Whirlpool Corporation
•301 days onsite.

•140,000 man hours to date.

•1,089,000 square feet of structural steel erected.

•81,000 linear feet of sprinkler pipe installed.

•208 tilt panels erected.

•37,000 cubic yards of concrete poured.

•1,036,000 square feet of roofing laid. 
•110,000 square feet of metal panels hung.
