EGGER selected Gray to partner on its new operation to deliver the 815,000 s.f. facility that allows EGGER to better serve North America.
“Some two years ago, we sought out to execute a state-of-the-art facility for EGGER,” says Brian Jones, president and CEO of Gray Construction. “It is so rewarding to see this project come to life, despite the global pandemic.”
“As a milestone project for the South Atlantic region, EGGER is positively impacting the local economy,” adds Brett Goode, senior vice president of Gray South Atlantic. “We’re proud to have played a role in this monumental effort.”
The highly automated facility will produce panel products used in a variety of manufacturing items, including cabinetry, residential and commercial furniture and casework.
At peak construction, over 1,000 workers were on-site. EGGER plans to create approximately 770 jobs for the region.
