Gray Construction Receives 2016 Gold ADDY Award for the GrayWay Newsletter
Gray Construction received a 2016 Gold ADDY award for its nationally-acclaimed newsletter, the GrayWay, at an awards gala held Friday, Feb. 26. Presented by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Lexington, the award recognized the GrayWay in the Sales & Marketing, Newsletter Campaign category.
The GrayWay is published six times a year and is mailed to more than 12,000 readers around the world. Rather than content focusing on news pertaining to Gray, the GrayWay tackles issues facing business and industry today, distinguishing the publication from typical corporate newsletters. It also features a clean, contemporary design that is pleasing to readers.
Winners are selected by a panel of judges who evaluate the creative dimensions of entries in each category. A Gold ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category.
“We take tremendous pride in each issue of the GrayWay. This publication truly is a team effort and recognitions such as this make it even more special,” said Gray Construction Vice President, Communications & Marketing Jill Wilson. “We’re thrilled to be honored with this award.”
The GrayWay will advance to the National ADDY Awards, which will be held in Anaheim, Calif. later this year.
Gray has received several ADDY awards in the past, honoring its creativity on numerous marketing publications including the GrayWay, and its 50th anniversary book, Building on a Legacy: Documenting 50 Years of Gray.
Sponsored by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the ADDY Awards recognize creative excellence in advertising. The local competition is judged for the most creative entry in a category by recognized design and marketing professionals from a different region.
