Gray Celebrates the Grand Opening of the 1st U.S. Manufacturing Facility for MLILY

Today, Gray, a fully integrated services provider specializing in engineering, design and construction, celebrates the grand opening of the first U.S. manufacturing facility for MLILY in Winnsboro, South Carolina. As a subsidiary of Healthcare Co. Ltd., MLILY is a Chinese-based memory foam mattress manufacturer.

MLILY selected Gray to execute a seven-month, 633,318 s.f. renovation to their existing plant, all while maintaining current production capacity.

“It’s been a pleasure working with MLILY on their first U.S. manufacturing plant,” said Brett Goode, vice president of Gray’s South Atlantic office. “The Carolinas offer an abundant opportunity for industrial growth, and we’re proud to serve this region and customers like MLILY.”

The plant will produce memory foam mattresses and pillows to serve the company’s growing U.S. customer base.

The new operation is creating 250 jobs for the region.

State, county and local officials, along with business leaders, came to celebrate MLILY’s historic grand opening. The ceremony included remarks from Wu Liangheng, project manager for MLILY. The festivities also included a plant tour.
