ADPE Spotlight: Bo Couch

Meet Bo Couch! Bo is a Business Development Manager at AD Process Equipment, where he recently celebrated his four-year anniversary with the company. With a background in manufacturing sales, particularly in distribution, Bo brings a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for using that knowledge to help ADPE expand its footprint in the industry.

Bo’s day-to-day responsibilities include a mix of supporting our key food & beverage customers and direct outside selling efforts to find new project opportunities. His favorite part of his job is learning about his customers’ unique manufacturing processes and understanding where our consumer goods come from. When asked what his most memorable experience at the company was, Bo recalls, “On my first day, I had a meeting on the roof of a chocolate factory in minus ten-degree weather in downtown Chicago. That has been a hard one to top!”

Since joining ADPE, Bo has seen the company undergo significant changes, which he believes have strengthened its position in the industry. “ADPE has been through a lot of change over the past few years, especially with the Gray acquisition and our rebranding. Through all of this, we’ve built an incredibly skilled sales team and received even stronger support from our applications and design teams,” he said.

In one word, Bo describes ADPE as “comprehensive.” “Our team’s diverse engineering backgrounds allow us to take on projects in areas like Liquid Process, Dry Bulk Handling, Confectionery Equipment, and Controls—something that’s rare in the industry,” Bo explains. Looking ahead, Bo is excited to witness how ADPE’s customer relationships will evolve as the company continues to grow, project by project.

Outside of work, Bo enjoys staying active, whether it’s exercising outdoors or playing tennis. He also loves exploring new places and recommends the U.S. National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC, as a must-see destination for anyone visiting the area.
