PHOEBE WILSON PUTNEY HOSPICE
Nestled in a beautiful wooded area outside Albany, Georgia, and as a segment of the Phoebe Putney Hospital, the new Wilson Hospice provides patients a safe and comfortable place for end-of-life care. The 39,000 sq. ft. facility’s focus is a calm and peaceful setting for patients and family members and includes a kitchen, a sunroom, a quiet room, a playroom for children, a family laundry area and two non-denominational chapels. Patient rooms have ample natural light, a window seat-bed for family members, 27/7 family access and double doors that allow patients to be easily moved directly outside to the tranquility gardens.
The mechanical and electrical systems were designed for complete compliance with Joint Commission Healthcare standards in this award-winning project.
Spencer Bristol Engineering provided design and construction administration services for the power, lighting, and low voltage systems.
