Repeat Customer Trusts Gray to Deliver Facility in 6 Months.

The project represents the latest collaboration in a partnership that’s 15 years old and going strong. The customer requested that Gray deliver the project in only 6 months—an aggressive timeline for a 159,000 s.f. facility with extensive racking systems—underscoring the trust between the two companies.

In addition to the facility’s construction, Gray’s 6-month project scope involved extensive site work. To prepare the location for underground utilities, the team blasted and removed more than 5,600 cubic yards of rock, which was crushed on site for reuse as fill material. Gray also paved a large parking lot with fueling stations and EV charging ports and implemented exterior lighting across the site. The project required nearly 9,000 linear feet of piping for storm, sanitary sewer, and roof drain collection systems.

The finished facility brings 200 new jobs to the area and offers customers a variety of departments and services, including a food court, pharmacy, tire center, hearing aid center, and optical department.
