Whirlpool Corporation, a Gray Construction customer, was featured in the Cleveland Daily Banner on June 27th, 2011. Despite devastating weather conditions, the 1,550,283 s.f. manufacturing facility is still on schedule for production start-up in first quarter 2012. In the news article, Whirlpool credits Gray for keeping the build on schedule. The new manufacturing facility in Cleveland, Tennessee will produce built-in, premium cooking products, as well as a 400,000 s.f. distribution center and will replace an existing 100 year old facility located just seven miles away. Gray is providing architecture, structural and civil engineering, construction management, building commissioning, and LEED Certification Coordination for this project.
