The Siemens Energy, Inc. project in Charlotte, N.C. hosted a safety luncheon on Tuesday, May 25th, 2011. Gray hosts a safety luncheon on each jobsite to show its appreciation to the many subcontractors and Gray team members who help make safety and quality of life Gray’s No. 1 Core Value.
The Siemens Energy, Inc. project is a 450,000 s.f. expansion of Siemens’ existing Turbine-Generator Service Center. When completed, the facility will house a 450 ton crane – one of the largest in the U.S. – as well as a 250 ton crane that will be installed below it. Gray is pursuing LEED Gold Certification on this project by including several sustainable design elements that will reduce the buildings environmental impact.
