Kentucky Association for Economic Development Award
During the November Annual Conference for The Kentucky Association for Economic Development, Jill Wilson (Vice President, Communications & Marketing, Gray Construction) and Jeff Bischoff (Vice President, Business Development, Gray Construction) presented the James Norris Gray Award for Professional Development to Kimberly Solsbury, Senior Project Manager with Commerce Lexington.
Ms. Solsbury received this year’s award to recognize her business development efforts at Commerce Lexington (the economic development entity for Lexington, KY) and her continued focus on continuing education in the economic development field.
The James Norris Gray Award for Professional Development was created by KAED in 1997 to recognize those economic developers who strive to keep abreast of the ever-changing field of economic development and have reached a significant level of experience and expertise in the economic development field.
The award is named in honor of James Norris Gray, the founder of Gray Construction. James Norris was an active economic development practitioner and valued his friendships with economic developers throughout Kentucky. Today, Gray Construction, remains a strong supporter of those in the economic development profession across the U.S.
