Gray Safety Manager Presents at NAGLO Meeting

Gray Construction Safety Manager, David Valentine, presented at the 2010 National Association of Governmental Labor Officials (NAGLO) Annual Meeting in Richmond, Va. on Tuesday, July 27. David’s presentation provided a private sector perspective on OSHA and how it is serving companies. He touched on many positive aspects of OSHA as well as a few suggestions such as developing a national Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) status for construction companies and increasing the funding for educational programs to help raise the knowledge lever of idle construction workers during this time of economic development.
NAGLO is a bi-partisan association of the Commissioners, Directors and Secretaries of Labor for each state and territory of the United States.
