Gray Receives Safety Excellence Award

On March 23, 2011 Gray Construction was awarded The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America Construction National Safety Excellence Award for Construction Management during the 92^nd Annual AGC Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. This national award recognizes construction companies across the U.S. who have developed and implemented premier safety and loss prevention programs. It is considered a premier safety award in the construction industry.

To determine winners for this national award, AGC compared member safety records according to the member size and construction type. The award was not only judged by safety statistics but by company safety culture as well. This included top-down management, execution and innovation of new safety practices as well as company-wide commitment to safety.

AGC is a leading association for the construction industry. A full service national trade association with a nationwide network of exceptional chapters, AGC represents more than 33,000 leading firms in the industry – including general contractors, specialty contractors and service providers and suppliers.

The AGC of Kentucky nominated Gray Construction for this national award. AGC of Kentucky is a leading organization in Kentucky’s construction industry, providing a full range of services designed to meet the needs of more than 700 member companies across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The KY Chapter has been and continues to be a great safety resource for contractors statewide.
