Gray Jumps to No. 53 on ENR’s Top 400 Contractors List

The Top 400 Contractors List is an annual ranking based on the previous year’s revenue and is produced by Engineering News-Record (ENR), a leading industry publication.

ENR produces lists for several major categories, in many of which Gray regularly ranks as one of the top contractors and design firms in the United States. These rankings are released throughout the year as various revenue numbers are received and calculated by the publication.

So far this year, Gray has ranked in these categories:

• 3rd – Top Contractors in Industrial Process
• 49th – Top 100 Contractors by New Contracts
• 28th – Top 50 Contractors Working Abroad
• 26th – Top 100 Design-Build Firms
• 20th – Top Contractor in the Southeast
• 59th – Top Contractor in the Midwest

Gray’s business in 2019 was bolstered by great customers and projects including Champion Petfood’s Northstar Kitchens, Q CELLS’ photovoltaic manufacturing facility, Buffalo Trace Distillery’s Mash House, Maruchan Virginia’s soup room expansion, and MLILY’s first U.S. manufacturing facility, among many others.
