Amfine celebrates 10th Anniversary in Hopkinsville, Ky.

Amfine Chemical Corporation is celebrating its 10th year in Hopkinsville, Ky. The anniversary was celebrated with an event at the Hopkinsville facility on Tuesday, October 5th. The Amfine Board of Directors, Amfine President/CEO Koji Tajima, local government officials and Gray Construction were in attendance.
The Amfine project won the 2001 DBIA National Design-Build Award in the Industrial/Process Sector under $25 million. The project was recognized for it’s complexity and creative use of the design-build method to address schedule and budget challenges.
Gray Construction, ranked 9th among the U.S. Top Manufacturing Plant Contractors, provided architecture, construction management, civil, electrical, mechanical, structural and process engineering for this facility. Gray was recognized by Amfine officials at the October 5th event for delivering a quality facility, multiple expansions and continued support.
