Gray was one of six American general contractors selected to build Toyota’s first U.S. assembly plant located in Georgetown, KY. The original facility was 3.8 million s.f. with a total investment in excess of $800 million.

Gray completed multiple projects for Toyota in the 80s and 90s, which helped establish Gray in the automotive manufacturing space. Ultimately, this led to Gray currently being recognized as a leading automotive engineering, design, and construction partner.
As a longtime partner of Gray, Toyota Motor Manufacturing again called on the company’s expertise when it came time to build a new regional training facility for its Kentucky campus.
