For HiTHIUM’s first project with Gray and its first manufacturing facility in the U.S., the customer chose the company to retrofit an existing facility on the outskirts of Dallas. Gray’s scope includes design and construction for the 485,000 s.f. energy storage cell module assembly plant. The plant will produce complete battery energy storage systems (BESS) as well as battery modules and components.
The brownfield project’s scope also includes joist modification, MEPFP redesign, a new office build-out, and the addition of two 4,000 kVA transformers and three 2,500 kVA transformers to support production.
