Walmart Celebrates California Neighborhood Market Opening

Walmart celebrated the opening of the first Walmart Neighborhood Market, a Gray-I.C.E. Builders project, in California on Friday, July 27th. The 31,000 s.f. store is the fourth of its kind on the West Coast. The Walmart Neighborhood Market store format is about 70% smaller than a Walmart Supercenter and targets time strapped consumers looking for quick one-stop shopping and services. The neighborhood store features groceries as well as stationery, beauty items, pet supplies, a one-hour photo center and more.
