Gray's Jill Wilson Named One of the Top 15 Business Women by National Women’s Council

Gray Construction’s first woman Vice President, Jill Wilson, was recognized by The National Women’s Council as one of the Top 15 Business Women in Alabama at the Alabama Women’s Conference held Wednesday in Birmingham. Awardees were honored for excellence in leadership, high levels of integrity, commitment to corporate citizenship and the ability to drive change within an organization.

Gray Construction’s first woman vice president, Jill Wilson, was recognized by The National Women’s Council as one of the Top 15 Business Women in Alabama at the Alabama Women’s Conference held Wednesday in Birmingham. Awardees were honored for excellence in leadership, high levels of integrity, commitment to corporate citizenship and the ability to drive change within an organization.

 

Wilson, whose career at Gray spans over 27 years, currently serves as Gray’s top marketing officer and is responsible for creatively marketing design and construction services to customers, communities and allied organizations around the world. Recognized for her efforts to strengthen Gray’s growing Southeast regional market, Wilson has played a key role in the development of the company’s Birmingham office.

 

In addition, Wilson’s commitment to protecting the company’s brand and a strong devotion to her family were celebrated before more than 100 attendees.

The Alabama Women’s Conference, presented by the Alabama Diversity Council and National Women’s Council, offers women a venue to learn from diverse, insightful speakers and panelists. In addition, it provides an opportunity to network with other professionals and to dialogue about important issues affecting women’s career success.
