Gray Regional Manager Named Among the Top 14 Under 40
Brian Jones, Gray’s Regional Manager, Southeast Regional Office in Birmingham, Ala., was named one of South Central Construction magazine’s top 14 under 40. South Central Construction magazine, a McGraw-Hill Construction publication, will highlight the 14 individuals under 40 who represent the “Best-of-the-Best” in their construction and design careers in an early 2011 issue. Nominations came from people working in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Brian began work as an intern at Gray in 1999 while he was a civil engineering student at the University of Kentucky. Through his tenure at Gray, Brian has risen through the ranks from intern to project manager, senior project manager and now regional manager. In 2004, Brian relocated to Gray’s Birmingham, Ala. Office and was named Gray’s 2007 project manager of the year. In 2010, Brian was named Gray’s regional manager, southeast regional office and was awarded the Young Construction Engineer of the Year by the University of Kentucky’s Department of Civil Engineering. Brian is active in the Alabama Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors, Vistage and is involved in Gray Construction’s Project Managers’ Association and Quality Management Committee.
