The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Alabama recently announced its new board members for 2015. Included in this list is Brian Jones, vice president, Gray Construction Southeast regional office.
“ABC’s executive committee is pleased to add Brian Jones of Gray Construction to our Board of Directors,” said Jay Reed, the president of ABC of Alabama. “Over the past five years, ABC, due to a struggling economy, has had to streamline our vision and goals to be in line with what the construction community needs from an association. Brian and Gray’s vision, professionalism and passion for industry, is directly in sync with where our association is headed.”
“Brian and his team,” he continued, “have stepped up and made not only a name for themselves here, but they have also made a positive and permanent mark as one of us. Though based in Kentucky, Gray’s Southeast regional office in Birmingham is seen as a local contractor, a local player, and is consistently doing things right.”
“We welcome Brian as an addition to our Board that is making a difference in Alabama’s construction community,” Reed concluded.
As part of the ABC of Alabama board, Jones will work toward increasing a skilled workforce, providing a political action voice for contractors, and ultimately, improving the economy in Alabama.
“I look forward to helping the ABC of Alabama board make a difference in our great state,” said Jones. “I’m honored to represent Gray and advance opportunity for our company in Alabama.”
