Mather Spring Company began producing automobile components in 1911 in Toledo, OH, counting Henry Ford, Walter Chrysler, and John Willys among its first customers. The company was acquired by NHK Spring Co. of Japan in 1987 and renamed New Mather Metals.

The company produces stabilizer bars for the automotive industry and when it made the decision to locate in Kentucky, Gray was chosen to design and build its original facility along with an expansion.

 

The plant includes an overhead crane, a metal scrap handling area, and trenches for equipment cooling.
