Digital Factory IIoT Program.
One of the largest consumer products companies in the world embarked on a multi-year, multi-site global Digital Factory program. The goal of the program is to create supply chain connected factories to share and access valuable intelligence.
With this project, the team surveyed and evaluated each manufacturing site, design network and data acquisition; defined cybersecurity and firewall rules; mapped all data points from the plant to an edge device for access to Azure; and implemented and tested all network and data collection.
To date, 59 of the over 300 plants have been successfully completed to become the foundation to support digitally enabled end-to-end transformation.
