Abdul EL Baba joined the Gray team in 2011 and has more than a decade of experience in the construction industry. As vice president, he works with program managers, project managers, and design and construction teams to market, develop, implement, and manage manufacturing projects. Since joining Gray, Abdul’s ability to develop and maintain customer relationships has led to growing Gray’s customer base. He acts as a liaison between the company, subcontractors, and customers by preparing, implementing, and monitoring the annual operating plans, proposals, and sales. Abdul meets regularly with the project managers to review projects/drawings, verify that correct work procedures are being followed, and to ensure continuity of the workflow (including completion of status reports, closeout documents, and maintenance manuals).
He has a master’s degree in Engineering Management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Customers Abdul has been involved with include: Boeing, Mitsubishi Chemical Carbon Fiber & Composites, Pomona Valley Transfer Station, Amada, Theme Park/Entertainment projects, and Chapman University.
When he is not working, Abdul enjoys playing basketball, off-roading, and mountain biking.
