Gray, a leading design-build firm recognized for engineering, architecture and construction expertise, is proud to be named among the top ten best places to work in the state of Kentucky for 2019. Gray ranked 9th in the large company category, consisting of more than 500 team members, from the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) and Lifestyle Health Plans.

“We believe that Gray provides a strong, family-based atmosphere for team members to advance their careers,” said Brian Jones, chief operating officer at Gray. “Being recognized at a state level provides further validation that we are building a workplace which truly emphasizes our people and values.”

The selection process, managed by Best Companies Group, is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures as well as the results of an internal employee survey. According to the Best Companies Group, the competition is a multi-year initiative designed to motivate companies in the Commonwealth to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence since numerous studies show a strong correlation between profitability and creating a good place to work.

Other winners include Comcast, Edward Jones, Long John Silver’s, LLC and Valvoline, Inc.
