ADPE Spotlight: Alex Bashqawi

Meet Alex! Alex Bashqawi is a Senior Controls Engineer at AD Process Equipment. He recently celebrated his two-year anniversary in July. Alex started as an intern and was later hired as a full-time controls engineer. He was then recently promoted to a Senior Controls Engineer.

Alex’s role consists of designing electrical control panels, programming PLCs and operator interfaces, and commissioning new control systems. His favorite part of what he does is seeing a system working at the end of the project. Since his time at ADPE, he’s loved seeing the team grow, getting more organized, and our processes becoming more refined.

When asked what his favorite part about being a member of the ADPE team is, he said, “I have learned so much from the team, and there is so much more to learn!” His most memorable experience with ADPE is when he and a few controls engineers commissioned a new cheese process line. “It was awesome to see it all come together at the end,” he said.
