A letter from Mac Willett in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
I’ve always said what sets Willett apart is how much we care.
Many of you I’ve known for a long time; we’ve worked together on countless projects. Some of you I’ve only met recently, but I consider every client, every contractor, every colleague to be a friend. I want you to know what you can expect from me and my team during these very uncertain times.
Adaptability. Our office has always incorporated remote work solutions for situations that require it. We have rapidly expanded these capabilities in recent days. Our employees are working both in the office and from home, as we incorporate social distancing practices into our work model in accordance with CDC guidelines. While unforeseen challenges will arise, we will adapt as necessary to overcome each obstacle.
Flexibility. We know your policies are changing, too. We have the flexibility to accommodate your evolving needs. For example, we are ready to offer you virtual solutions for meetings or to utilize any of your preferred methods for online conferencing.
Dependability. We will maintain normal business hours and open communications. We expect our work to flow as usual and will do our best to ensure the same quality and timeliness of service that you are accustomed to. We are currently experiencing no delays and are meeting our deadlines as usual.
Responsibility. We take very seriously our commitment to our clients, to our community, and to one another. Your health and the overall health of our community is our utmost concern. We are closely following the advice of the CDC, our governor and our local government, and we will notify you of any future changes.
Perseverance. We will carry on. You can count on us to uphold our commitments to you, and together we will get through this difficult period.
This is our promise to you. I thank you profoundly for your continued trust in us, and I wish you all the best.
J. Mac Willett, P.E.
