Spec Engineering enhanced the polymer manufacturing process for a leading manufacturer of dental care products. A polymer reactor, centrifuge, and drying system were installed to double the customer’s production of a polymer resin.
Project Highlights:
- Integrated PLC controls systems developed trending data and real-time reactor monitoring.
- Doubled the capacity of the existing system by incorporating a new reactor with automated controls. The previous system utilized manual controls.
- Integrated the new system with minimal downtown of existing reactor process.
