Spec Team Spotlight: Brook Harter

Brook Harter, customer relations manager at Spec Engineering, celebrated her two-year anniversary with Spec last month. She started at Spec in December 2020 and has since gained experience representing Spec Engineering and CandyWorx at tradeshows and events, marketing projects, inside sales, and outside sales. Currently, Brook is in the customer relations manager role. “I was employee number 40 upon starting with Spec two years ago, and now we are nearing 100 employees, which is amazing to see. Our departments are gaining fresh new talent,” Brook said.

As a customer relations manager, Brook responds to customer requests, quotes custom proposals, provides updates and gets feedback from customers, and generates new business. Brook’s favorite part about being a member of the Spec team is having top-notch mentors within the company and feeling supported and empowered in her position. She loves that every day is slightly different.

Brook enjoys being thrown new tasks and getting to work with all different types of people. When asked what her most memorable experience with Spec has been since she’s started, she said, “Pet Fridays and all of my experiences networking and meeting new people.”
