SPEC Staff Complete CPR Training

In honor of Healthy Heart month, the SPEC team completed CPR and First Aid training and are now certified. Thanks to Heartwise CPR, employees were able to learn CPR and First Aid skills during the work day.

As the American Heart Association advertises, CPR is changing and saving lives. You never know when you might be in a situation where CPR can save someone. According to the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration, there are around 10,000 cardiac arrest in the workplace each year, just in the United States.

By learning CPR and First Aid skills, SPEC staff is contributing to a healthy and safer workplace and community.
