Annual Golf Outing 2014

SPEC held its annual golf outing on September 9, 2014 at Aurora Country Club this year. We had beautiful weather to golf all afternoon, and finished the day with prizes and dinner.

The duffers arrived at the course and were able to choose from an array of different SPEC golf shirts, amongst other SPEC golf items. Master of Mixes provided a complimentary Bloody Mary Bar all day and set up next to them was our Dominican cigar roller and friend, Francis, from Habana Cigar House in Rolling Meadows, IL – that tent was busy all day!

The duffers enjoyed a buffet lunch right before the shotgun start. Everyone had their try at a Hole-In-One contest with a prize of $25,000 cash, half of the prize would be donated to the charity of the winner’s choice, and the other for the winner to keep. There were no hole-in-ones, but there were a couple close calls! The rest of the course offered longest drive, longest putt, and closest to the pin contests as well.

Immediately following the round, golfers enjoyed a cocktail hour and dinner while prizes were announced. Many golfers asked significant others to join for a delicious meal of steak or chicken. Aurora Country Club helped SPEC make this day a great success. SPEC is always excited to enjoy this day with our customers as a way to give back and say Thank You for their business and friendship throughout the year!
