Safety Breakfast Held At USPS Eagan Jobsite

Award Presented by Liberty Mutual Group Commending Gray/PCL

Gray Construction celebrated the USPS-Eagan project in Eagan, Minn. on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 with a safety breakfast at the jobsite. Gray Construction hosts safety events at each jobsite to show appreciation to the many subcontractors who help put safety and quality of life first. Safety is a top priority at Gray. In fact, it’s our No. 1 Core Value.

The safety breakfast celebrated 205,000 man hours, 720 days with zero lost time incidents. Liberty Mutual Group presented an award recognizing Gray/PCL Construction for commendable safety performance. Representative from USPS, Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., the City of Eagan, Eagan Police Department, Eagan Fire Department, Minnesota Occupational Safety & Health Administration (MNOSHA), Gray Construction, PCL, subcontracors and Associated General Contractors (AGC) were all in attendance.

Gray is providing architecture, construction management, equipment procurement, equipment installation, and civil, electrical, mechanical and structural engineering to the 62,000 s.f. Eagan Letter Processing Center. The jobsite was recognized as a MNSTAR recipient on March 2, 2010. MNSTAR is a MNOSHA program that recognizes worksites where managers and employees work together to develop safety and health management systems that go beyond basic compliance with all applicable OSHA standards and result in immediate and long-term prevention of job-related injuries and illnesses.
