Schaefer

Eric Schaefer has spent decades in the world of industrial automation and systems integration. Prior to his work at Stone Technologies, Eric worked as a controls engineer and project manager for one of the twenty largest engineering companies in the country, delivering successful projects to Fortune 100 companies, including Miller Brewing, Kraft, and Post Cereals.

Eric served as a principal of Stone Technologies from its founding in 1996, building the business into one of the Best Places to work in St. Louis four years in a row, and expanding to 85 employees in 18 states before becoming part of Gray Solutions, a Gray company, in 2021.

As president of Gray Solutions, Eric is responsible for the quality delivery of professional services and project execution for our customers and for the financial and operations aspects of our business while providing a fulfilling and safe work environment for our people.

When he’s not working, Eric spends time woodworking, renovating old homes, and enjoying the social aspect and exercise of golfing.
