Executive Administrator, Spec Engineering, A Gray Company

Since 2012, Amy has played an integral role to the accounting department and overall operations at Spec Engineering, a Gray company. Amy started as the bookkeeper for two years, then transitioned to accounting manager for more than five years. In 2020, Amy began her current role as executive administrator while also serving as the acting accounting manager.

 

Amy works daily with the accounting team and vice president of business operations to manage Spec’s accounting and finances, while also supporting human resource functions. As the executive administrator, Amy works on special projects, oversees office management, drives company initiatives, reviews and creates company policies and procedures, and maintains and reviews documentation such as NDAs, purchase orders, order acknowledgements, vendor contracts, terms and conditions, and certificates of insurance.

 

As a founding member of Spec’s Power Leadership Team (PLT), Amy currently serves as the PLT liaison between the PLT team and senior leadership. Amy truly supports every employee at Spec, which is why she was awarded the ‘2020 Team Player Award’ at the Spec Annual Meeting.

 

When Amy is not at work, she enjoys playing guitar, singing, playing tennis with her husband, and doing crossword puzzles.
