Pigment Extrusion

    Spec Engineering provided an extruded pigment stick mixing operation.

    Project Highlights:

    • Pallets of extruded pigments are transported to the top of the custom mezzanine.
    • Extruded pigment sticks are shortened and blended together in the mixer to become a salable product.
    • Control panel effectively mimics the existing plant mixer operation.
    • Spec assisted with managing the scope of the project, fielding vendor/fabrication questions, and coordinating contractors for installation.
