Welcome Jim Gratzke, Sean LeMay, Chris Simek, and Chase Straw to the ADPE Team!

ADPE is excited to be growing our team! Learn about some of the recent hires below.

 

Jim Gratzke

Meet Jim! Jim Gratzke is a new Design Engineer at ADPE. As a Design Engineer, he collaborates with others to do the mechanical design per our customers’ requirements and create fabrication/assembly drawings that manufacturing can use efficiently. Jim has an associate’s degree in Manufacturing Technology: Drafting/Design from the College of DuPage, and coming from a smaller employer, he said it was refreshing to join a larger team. He is excited to do more site visits to experience the impact our company makes. Jim is also looking forward to coming up with creative solutions to unique problems that arise. When he’s not spending time with his kids, Jim and his wife enjoy watching movies in their home theater that they designed and built themselves.

 

 

Sean LeMay
Meet Sean! Sean LeMay is the new Field Installation Technician at ADPE, where he assists in the installation of equipment and collaborates with the designers and contractors to ensure everything is done correctly. Sean is originally from California, grew up in Charlotte, NC, and served in the Army for 6 years. What he found most appealing about ADPE was seeing a project start from the very beginning and watching as it develops into the finished product. He’s looking forward to learning and eventually moving up and having greater responsibility in the company. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking and watching movies.

 

 

Chris Simek

Meet Chris! Chris is a new Controls Engineer at ADPE. Chris recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he studied Computer Engineering. He completed two summer internships at ADPE during his time at school and really enjoyed his time with the ADPE team. He especially loved the people and the experience he gained, so he was excited to start his career in the same place. Chris is excited to be back and is looking forward to working on some amazing projects and learning from the team. In his free time, he likes to run, play golf, and hang out with friends.

 

 

Chase Straw

Meet Chase! Chase is a new Sales Engineer at ADPE. He works closely with the sales team and provides support to our customers with quotes and feedback. Chase was born and raised in northeast Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Industrial Design. Chase looks forward to getting to know the ADPE team and learning more about our operations. He is also very excited to learn and collaborate with his talented colleagues. Chase has a Bernese Mountain Dog named Ripley and enjoys riding single track and being outdoors.
