Spec Team Spotlight: Dan Glees

Dan Glees, Sales Engineer at Spec Engineering, A Gray Company, is celebrating his one-year anniversary with the company this month. He started his role working 100% remote for a few months, meeting his coworkers only on Microsoft Teams as many people worked remote during the starting phases of the pandemic. He was quite surprised to learn one of his coworkers was six inches taller than he thought based on their Teams calls!

As a Sales Engineer, Dan works with customers to develop the best solutions to implement in their facility. The scope could be anything from supplying a piece of Spec’s equipment, providing engineering services, or building out a full turnkey system. No project is too small or too large, making each day different!

Dan’s favorite aspect at working at Spec is “providing value to our customers through our knowledge and experience in the food and beverage industry.” He also enjoys working with his coworkers, Chipotle lunches, and the new and exciting projects he gets to work on. Dan has quickly learned that everyone at Spec stretches their comfort zone by collaborating on projects.
