Spec Engineering Announces New Location in Naperville, Illinois

Spec Engineering’s new manufacturing facility in Naperville, IL opened in late May. This new 75,000 s.f. space, located at 540 Frontenac Court, Suite 180, Naperville, IL 60563, was customized specifically for the Spec team and will serve as the company’s headquarters moving forward. The new facility represents Spec’s commitment to provide additional capabilities to our customers and deliver more complex, high-quality systems and projects. The Naperville location provides additional office space for the expanding team, along with an expanded assembly, manufacturing, testing, and fabrication area. Spec has also expanded the panel fabrication shop in Plainfield, IL, which previously served as the headquarters.

 

The manufacturing and fabrication space features dedicated cell assembly workstations, a 20-ton crane, increased Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) capabilities and capacity, and a product testing and lab area. The office space features a large town hall space, open kitchen area, modern workstations, multiple conference rooms for collaboration, and visitor offices to accommodate customers and remote workers.
