SPEC Completes FAT for Brittle Product System
SPEC completed an in-house FAT yesterday for a new product spreading, setting, scoring, cooling and breaking processing system. The fully automated system was built and assembled in SPEC’s Assembly and Innovation Center in Plainfield, IL. The system contains a continuous extruding system, transfer cooling/scoring conveyor with a water chiller attached. The electrical control panel has a NEMA-4X enclosure and is designed to precisely control all system speed and operation. The system is being skidded and prepared to be shipped to our customer by the end of the week.
