Roxul USA Opens Doors on New Manufacturing Facility in Mississippi

On Wednesday, September 24, 2014, Roxul USA, Inc., celebrated the grand opening of its Byhalia, Miss. manufacturing facility after breaking ground in May of last year. Part of the world’s leading producer of stone wool, ROCKWOOL International of Denmark, Roxul USA, Inc., manufactures stone fiber based insulation made from natural stone and recycled content.

On Wednesday, September 24, 2014, Roxul USA, Inc., celebrated the grand opening of its Byhalia, Miss. manufacturing facility after breaking ground in May of last year. Part of the world’s leading producer of stone wool, ROCKWOOL International of Denmark, Roxul USA, Inc., manufactures stone fiber based insulation made from natural stone and recycled content.

The new 458,586 s.f. facility is the company’s first ever U.S. manufacturing facility. It will create 150 jobs for the area.

Gray Construction was selected to construct Roxul’s new manufacturing facility. As a nationally ranked engineering, architecture and construction firm, Gray has over 54 years of experience in manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, distribution, hospitality and retail facility construction. Currently, Gray has several large projects that are underway or recently completed including: a Michelin Earthmover tire manufacturing plant in Anderson, S.C.; a Caterpillar Inc. manufacturing facility near Athens, GaSiemens gas turbine plant in Charlotte, N.C.; an automotive exhaust manufacturing facility for Newman Technology, Inc., in Albertville, Alamanufacturing plant for ZF Transmissions in Gray Court, S.C.
