Big Brown Truck Pull for Special Olympics

In 2010, Gray team members joined forces and flexed muscles to raise money for Kentucky Special Olympics at the Big Brown Truck Pull. During the event, several Lexington-area teams competed to see who could pull a 40,000-pound UPS semi-truck 12 feet in the fastest time. As newcomers to the event, Gray’s team completed their best pull in 5.8 seconds, while the Lexington Fire Department, which practices year-round and holds tryouts, had a best pull time of 5.4 seconds. With that kind of competition, Team Gray is very proud of our performance. To date, the team has raised over $2,000 for Kentucky Specials Olympics.
